I can't believe that my little toddler is now a 4-year-old! Somehow this birthday was a little bittersweet. I was so excited to celebrate this year because SHE was so excited. She could hardly wait for the big day, counting down weeks before. "Is it my birthday yet?!" Kevin and I were looking forward to the big day, knowing that her little eyes would like up and we'd get to see that ear-to-ear smile as she took in every detail of the day.

We celebrated at "Funderland," which is an amusement park for the little ones. They absolutely loved it!

They Like Bunnies and Easter. . . just not Easter Bunnies. . .

The Girls had a fantastic Easter weekend with the Mashhoon Family! Baba and Lita had lots of fun stuff for the Girls to do: the park on Friday, Pixieland on Saturday, and Easter Brunch on Sunday at Sequoyah, complete with a Magic Show, Face Painter, Petting Zoo, and Egg Run.

Turkey Day

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone and yes, it was full of gravy. But also time to relax and spend quality time with the fam. We did quite a bit over the 4-day weekend. Loved every minute of it!

Pickin' Pumpkins

Fun at the pumpkin patch today! They went through a hay bale maze and took a hayride around the pumpkin patch before taking home a wheelbarrow full of beautiful pumpkins.

First Day of School

Sydney and Avery started at Little Blossom today! It was a special day that Sydney had been looking forward to for the last week or so. Her FIRST day of PRESCHOOL! We had been talking about the big change to her for several days and every morning she'd ask if today was the day that she got to go to Preschool. Well it finally arrived and she was thrilled.

The State Fair

 We took the Girls to the State Fair this past Saturday. We had talked about it all week and Sydney was most excited about the food - pizza and ice cream, to be exact.

  I knew that she'd love the kiddie rides and petting zoo. Both girls spent a lot of time with the baby animals and Syd even fed the goats.

Tahoe Trip! (and Mommy's Birthday)

We all had a wonderful time at the "vacation house" (as Syd still calls it) and the Girls absolutely loved the beach - playing in the sand and filling up the castle moats with water!

Sydney has looked at our wedding pics for some time now and has asked for months to go to the beach. Her dream came true. :)  So happy that she had her swim class a couple weeks before. I really believed it helped her be more confident in and around the water.
