Our Big Girl!

It's been way too long since I've posted anything on here. Better late than never!

Our little Sydney is now a BIG GIRL! Sydney turned three and is such a special, smart, little lady! We had a wonderful birthday weekend, complete with her "Toy Story"-themed birthday, as requested.  She's even graduated to her full-size big girl bed.

Our Little Baby is 1 YEAR OLD!

 Avery is a year old and has matured so much in the last month! She's very vocal these days and even gestures with her hands while spouting off all kinds of cute gibberish. I HAVE her say the words dada, mamama, sih (for Sydney), doggie and can do a couple of signs too! She can sign "milk," "all done," and most recently "more." She a smart little cookie!

 Even though she loves her fruit and especially chewing on little pieces of strawberry (her third tooth popped out on her birthday!) she doesn't really like sweets. A couple bits of frosting was just enough.

 We had a fun and food-filled celebration at the house, and all sat outside and ate, enjoying out 70+ degree January weather!

Avery is 10 Months Old!

Little Miss Avery is growing! She's crawling all over the place now - and fast - which means that she's discovering new places, new rooms and new toys. She loves watching Sydney play.

 

Avery took her first plane flight with Mommy (ssshhh! Don't tell Sydney), which means it was Mommy's first flight with a baby! We went to San Diego but our trip was cut short. :( Avery came down with Croup and was a trooper even though she wasn't feeling well.

Avery is 9 Months Old!

Little Monkey is 9 months old!

She went to see the doctor and is VERY close to the size Sydney was at this age. Avery is one inch longer at 20 inches and 20 lbs. She's in the 85th percentile for height, weight, and head circumference. Very proportionate little lady!

 

 Avery is either smiling or has her little thumb! She is such a happy baby and still finds great joy in watching her Big Sister, Sydney,or her doggie, Beans.

She's also very mobile these days! She can push herself back up to a sitting position from laying down, and is doing the army crawl to discover new and exciting things around whatever room she's in.

 Avery is a great eater - eating spinach, peas, carrots, yams, sweet potato, chicken, turkey, applesauce, banana and rice cereal. Still doesn't like broccoli! (unlike Big Sister!!)
