Sydney is 5 Months Old!

The last four weeks have gone by so quickly and our little Sydney is growing quickly. She no longer sleeps with a "swaddler" or her sleep positioners (little cushions to keep her from rolling around) - those are for BABIES! Now that Syndey is rolling around well, she's been a tummy sleeper.

She also doesn't need to be rocked to sleep anymore - although we all miss that precious time right before she falls asleep in the rocker! She still goes to bed by 7 and sleeps until about 7AM. Towards the end of the month, Mommy started dropping her night feedings and so now Mommy can get more sleep too. :)

Her hair is starting to come back - yay! Poor little Sydney lost most of her hair by 4 months. She still has a large patch on the top - something to clip her barrettes to!

Luckily for Grammie Dawnie, we have lots of pictures of Sydney. They love to have their weekly photo shoots. Here are a few pics from their sessions:

 This month, we started introducing Sydney to formula  - just four ounces a  day, and she takes that bottle like a champ! She's such a good eater. Sometimes, she even hold her own bottle!

At the end of the month, we took her to Lake Tahoe with us for our 1-year wedding anniversary. She just loved watching the waves!
